About this Blog

Having owned budgies for over five years, I have become passionate about birds and bird care. On this blog I will help you decide if a budgie is the right companion for you, how to care for these special little parrots we share our lives with, tips on all thing food, toys, and care, as well as the different ways to live and interact with these feathered whirlwinds.

As well as the above things I will share my experiences and stories about my current flock of six.

About the Writer

I am AussieBird, I also go by AB, I am bird lover with particular interest in budgies, chickens, and Asiatic parrots. While I am a huge admirer of birds I am an overall animal lover with a variety of animal companions, Misty the dog, Belinda the cat, Clay the goat, Bingo the guinea pig, Quarter the Galah, Vaktel, Vagary, Quaglia, and Solivagant the quail, and an ever changing number of chickens.

And of cause the number one reasons for the starting of this blog.
